If you are interested in making money online and are thinking about joining a paid survey service, here are a few things you need to know.
The first and most important is that you can make money through paid surveys providing you choose real online legitimate surveys and finish them. The best way to find these surveys is to pay the small membership fee and let the survey sites do the work for you, this way you can concentrate on taking the actual surveys after all that is where the money is.
The second is you need to realize two things.
1. These fees are very minimal to the amount of money you can make with paid survey (A few simple short surveys pays for your membership in no time at all.)
2. You are not paying to work for the companies surveys you are taking.(The membership fee pays for the service who gathers all the information and finds the surveys for you)
I have people ask me all the time why should I have to pay to go to work. Your right you shouldn’t and you don’t, but if you do want the convenience of having all different types of surveys for you to choose from then you will have to pay for the service that gathers them for you.
Yes it may be possible to find these surveys on your own, but please don’t ask me how to go about that. As I personally feel that the time and effort it takes to do this would outweigh the benefits of saving on the membership fee. As you can see below doing a few surveys a day I make much more money than the membership fee. 
The third thing is, you will not make any money if you don’t finish the surveys. Major cooperation’s are willing to pay you for your time to take these surveys, but they want your honest opinion in return and that requires finishing the surveys. They spend a lot of time and money on research and development of these surveys and they need to be complete in order for it all to pay off.
The Last thing is you will not make one red cent if you don’t take the surveys. Please do not pay the membership fee unless you plan on taking the surveys. I have shown you above it is possible make a little bit of money on surveys. I do it every day, but that is because I put in a couple of hours each day in my free time. I have had people tell me, that they joined one of the pay survey sites and didn’t make any money. When I asked the how many survey did they do? I usually hear a couple.
All surveys pay different amounts. You will need to do a little homework to find the best paying ones and the surveys that will give you the most money for you time spent. It will take more than a few days to figure these things out. It took me a little while but now that I know what to look for I can consistently make over a $100 a day in just a few hours.
If you check around this site you will find lots more valuable information about online surveys and my personal favorites which I use to generate online income every day. You probably won’t end up quitting you day job, but over some time along with a consistent effort you can start generating a nice part time income online with paid surveys.

I’m glad you made the distinction between paying to work for a company and paying for the information on companies looking for people to do surveys. The people who keep these lists up to date deserve to be paid for their efforts so that is fair.

I am in complete agrence with you Jeff. These sites provide an invaluable service and help make it possible to generate a some extra part time income through paid surveys and at the same time provide you with way more options that you would ever have if you were to try to do it on your own.

Hi I am so sceptical only because I have tried this in the past and have gotten no where, I am a single mom and could use the extra money . I am just so afraid of doing this and not getting anything in return is there a direct number to talk to someone?
I am not sure why you received no results in the past. I have tryed to list as much information on this site as possible to help everyone make an educated decision when it comes to making money online through paid surveys. And as i said before tis in not for everyone.
But if you are willing to be patience and put some time in and use the information provided here on this site you should be able to make extra money taking surveys online. Hope this helps and Good Luck.

I would love to know of survey sites that do not require you to go thru tons of offers you have to go thru to finally finish the survey, eventually you have to purchase something.
If you do some work and through patience and time it will become much easier to identify the surveys you are interested in although some will have offers or require small purchases. But these can still be very profitable if you spend some time developing a system that works for you.

I have tried and actually done surveys but the thing is all the surveys want you to buy somehting or sign up for something to get in return for doing the surveys it is a scam and not legitimate. Paying for something like this is ridiculous I have learned because you put in a ton of time for a couple bucks. I wish I could be made a believer because I would love to work from home but so far nothing is worth it.
Yes there are certainly surveys out there that want you to join or purchase somthing while doing the survey. This is part of the companies marketing research this is usually at a reduced or very minimal cost and if you are a little bit savvy and take the time to develop your own system you can even make money with these surveys too.

I paid $39.95 to take surveys, so i could work at home. I had problems with every site that i tried to complete a survey. I also was warned by my computer that the website and its affiliates were spam.
This is very unfortunate. As i have repeated many time in my post there are scams out there I have not found this to be such the case with the sites i mention in my post. But i will say it dose take a little time to develop a system and choose the surveys that will give you the best return for your time. A willingness to learn and patience is the key.

I have been taking surveys for a long time and all I get is points that take forever to build IE Lightspeed Panel. I have never received a dime from anyone. Quite frankly I believe its all a scam
Yes most of the free membership sites do only offer points. People you need to remember there is no such thing as something for nothing, The paid sites give you a service and you have a much better chance of getting legitimate surveys that pay cash.
Paid surveys is an easy way to make extra cash. No you will not become rich doing surveys. And yes there is work involved. I have made money with paid surveys just as others have through patience and a willingness to fufill the requirements of each survey.
How do I know your not ripping me off?
Fist of all I am not ripping anybody off. You are not paying me your membership fee. I am only recommending sites that i have found useful and have made money with. Again I can not say this enough paid surveys are not for everyone, but it is a very easy way to make money for those with patience and whom enjoy doing them.

I am thinking about doing online surveys and paying a fee to the site. Do i have to pay a fee for every survey that I fill out or is a one time fee? Also, do you know of any way to avoid the types of surveys that make you have to purchase something?
Know you only have to pay a one-time fee to become a member of the site and then you are free to take all the surveys. The first thing you want to do is get familiar with the site that you join. It is best to spend some time looking over the site and then developing a system, which you are comfortable with this will help you weed out, which surveys will give you the most bang for your buck.
